Curb mounts are designed for installation on an existing curb (by others). The unit consists of a welded aluminum sash (thermally broken as an option), acrylic or polycarbonate glazing in dome or pyramid style (single or double dome) or insulated glass, and a welded retaining angle.

Curb Mounts are available in tandem configuration and custom shapes.

All glass units require at least a 1/12 pitch. Call for options.

Curb Mount Acrylic Specification:

Curb Mount Acrylic, as manufactured by ORCA Manufacturing, Inc., with sealed insulated double acrylic domes (Clear over Clear standard, White or Bronze tints available as an option) in a welded extruded aluminum sash, with condensation drainage slots. Finish in bronze or mill, (or white gloss enamel as an option).

Curb Mount Acrylic; Thermally Broken, as manufactured by ORCA Manufacturing, Inc., with sealed insulated double acrylic domes (Clear over Clear standard, White or Bronze tints available as an option) in a welded thermally broken extruded aluminum sash. Curb Mount Acrylic Pyramid; Thermally Broken, as manufactured by ORCA Manufacturing, Inc., with sealed insulated double acrylic pyramids (Clear over Clear standard, White or Bronze tints available as an option) in a welded thermally broken extruded aluminum sash. Finish in bronze or mill (or white gloss enamel as an option).

Curb Mount Glass; Thermally Broken Specification:

Curb Mount Glass; Thermally Broken, as manufactured by ORCA Manufacturing, Inc., with insulated glass unit (Clear tempered over tempered standard, Low-E, tinted or laminated as an option) in a welded thermally broken, extruded aluminum sash. Finish in bronze, (or white gloss enamel as an option).

Ordering Info:

Specify the outside dimension of the curb, the preferred glazing material, style and configuration of domes or glass, and the finish.

Note: The flange-to-flange dimension of the curb mount will be _" larger than the outside dimension of the curb unless specified otherwise.

For acrylic models the standard finish is mill finish. For glass models the standard finish is bronze enamel. Custom paint may be specified.

Curb Mounts - Vented

Venting Curb mounts are designed for installation on an existing curb (by others). The unit consists of a welded aluminum sash (thermally broken as an option), acrylic or polycarbonate glazing in dome or pyramid style (single or double dome), or insulated glass, and a welded retaining angle hinged on a wood frame with custom flashing. Unit includes removable insect screen and detachable operator for 90-degree opening angle.

Venting - Curb Mount Glass Specification:

Venting- Curb Mount Glass; Thermally Broken, as manufactured by ORCA Manufacturing, Inc., with insulated glass unit (Clear tempered over tempered standard, Low-E, tinted or laminated as an option) in a welded thermally broken, extruded aluminum sash. Finish in bronze, (or white gloss enamel as an option).

Ordering Info:

Specify the outside AND inside finished dimension of the curb, the preferred glazing material, style of domes and configuration of domes or glass, and the finish.

Note: The flange-to-flange dimension of the curb mount will be 12" larger than the outside dimension of the curb unless specified otherwise.

The standard finish is mill. Custom paint may be specified.

Replacement Domes:

Replacement Domes are designed for installation in an existing skylight or curb mount. The unit consists of an acrylic or polycarbonate glazing in dome or pyramid style (single or double dome).

Ordering Info:

Specify the tip-to-tip dimension of the dome, the preferred glazing material, style and configuration of domes, and the dome rise.

Note: All replacement domes have a gradual rise. High-rise domes are not applicable to custom replacement domes. Call for options.
